There's a lot of good cues for the money. I really particularly like older mcdermotts if you are on a budget. Even the newer uber cheap ones aren't bad imo.

I have a newer style meucci and it seldom leaves the case. I don't like the hit. To me it feels like plastic and very undefined. I know that's an extremely subjective thing,but it just does not feel good to me. IMO mcdermott>meucci
