What is the most Under Rated Cue?

Just adding on... Fury gives decent hit and a quality built for the money you are paying. but the shafts used are just not too good compared to my pechauer.

There's a lot of good cues for the money. I really particularly like older mcdermotts if you are on a budget. Even the newer uber cheap ones aren't bad imo.

Cue

One of my friends was playing with a $100 cue he won in a drawing at Vegas, and I was surprised with the quality and the balance.

most under rated cues

depends who is doing the rating
and what if any are his standards for rating

based on what i have read on these2 similar threads,
i would agree that the Southwest and Schon and szamboti cues are probably the most under rated

my vote goes to bryan mordt and lil al romero. at the prices they sell you're getting way more cue for your dough than with any other cue/cue maker

Kobe Beef, Dom Perignon and Wild Beluga Caviar are Under Rated

Your attempt at rousing us was successful.
Nice Job!

any cue that i can gain some profit after i sell it to the second market is underrate...and any cue that i take loss is overrate....

so, with that opinion....My Barnhat, My sugartree and My Mobley barnhart is underrate cue....and my Mezz, My Joss, My Bebot bautista is very overrate

Pechauer....

i honestly can't stand pechauers. they feel dead and the ss joint they use give the cue a real weird feel. When i hit a ball with my buddies (he uses a 314-2 but i used the original shaft) it seemed like i could feel the ss joint and phenolic bit on the shaft more. thick handle heavy in the front and odd dead feel.

as far as looks go they all have unattractive designs. the expensive ones are the same design as their cheaper ones they just use different woods for the grooves they cut into the butt

imo joss, schon and lucasi's are so much better it's crazy

No. I'm poking fun at you. You seem to be on a crusade against expensive cues. The point has been re-hashed a dozen times in the last year on here in one form or another. If people are paying a lot of money for a cue, they obviously believe it's worth it. You seem to want to make fun of them. By doing so, you are basically trying to make them feel bad about their investment. I don't like people who try to make others feel bad. It's a form of bullying. How dare you tell others how to spend the money that they worked for and belittle their decision. I don't believe for a second that you are just trying to discuss the issue. It seems deeper than that with you. Perhaps you want a top brand cue and can't spring for it so you try to put down others who can?

i've seen that a lot on here. there are cue snobs and then there are anti cue snobs. the guys that are completely against spending more than 200 on a cue and seem to think anyone thta would an idiot

Thank you for your comments :)

My Pechauer suits me well.

To each his own.

Edit
P/s: I'm looking forward to getting a 70s Joss soon! :)

ive played with all kinds of midlle of the road (price wise) production cues and most play well once you got a feel for them... the only one that i can honestly say I was disapointed with was a newer muecci a friend bought he payed 500+ for it and i cant begin to tell you how bad that cue was. aside from playability and feel being sub par there were all kinds of other issues, ie; glue marks, uneven/lifted points, etc, etc... Matter of fact after about a year he bought a joss and left that muecci at my house... and it's still sitting there.

those kinds of problems are basically what meuccis are known for these days. everyone that i know of that has a newer one has the same problems and complaints.

Just find a cue you like-play with it and leave us alone.

don't be like that bro. you don't like the threads then don't be the guy that's like post number 55 and says "why do people keep starting these threads?". if you don't like it just don't open it, let alone add to it
