    Kamui Black vs. Kamui

I have been using the Kamui Black S on my cues for the last two months and it is hands down the best tip I have used. Just this week I had three shafts lined up with a Wizard M tip, Molavia R tip, Kamui M tip, Prototype Aramith M tip and a Kamui Black S tip side by side to examine the different...

Terrry, It was my pleasure doing business with you. I just got the cue at my office 10 min ago and brought it out and hit some balls on our table in the break room. Tip shaper for Mini Lathe

I already use a utility blade. I am just seeing if anyone out there likes this type of a tool to produce a consistent shape. I don't like the idea that the bit gets dull quickly. Thanks for the input.

    FS - Predator/Cog shafts

KJ made a shaft for my Cognoscenti I just got and it was the best transaction I have ever had buying a shaft. The service was so fast, literally I called him on a Tuesday and had a perfectly matching tapped Z2 shaft by that next Thursday morning. I have talked to Joe Gold many times over the...

Butt Diameter and a Few Other Questions...

cuetecs thread might be an 3/8 8 but you won;t find any of the master cue makers using a thread like that, at least I have never seen any.

Butt Diameter and a Few Other Questions...

Cuetec cues are generally thinner than other cues out there. It is not the weight however weight sometimes can make a cue seem thinner or thicker. 3/8 8 is not a standard screw, 3/8 10, 3/8 11 are the two common 3/8 threads.

hightower deluxe cue or unique lathe

Unique products cue maker lather would get my vote, at the end of the day they are both nice decent machines. Uniques add on the taper shaper is awesome. The cue maker lathe is a little more expensive but in my opinion built a little bit better. I am interested to hear other people's opinions.

    tip touch up

Find a piece of smooth leather then slightly wet the side of the tip, twist or spin the shaft while holding the leather against the tips sidewall. This should burnish it up nicely and help prevent it from mushrooming more. You can also take a black sharpie and apply to side wall of tip to get it...
