Hey Grey ghost, that sounds like a good idea, but does it make the cueball slide like it's on brand new cloth? Also a lighter weightball set, and a ball cleaner is a good way to keep the speed up.

I have both the WD700 and HP2 shafts, to me the HP2 has a slight duller hit than the WD700. But the HP2 can give you more spin. Both shafts are have more feedback than allot of other low deflection shafts. Try a WD700, you cannot go wrong... best of luck to you...

Just tried a DaVinci soft, feels good, accepts chalk very well, the tip made some clicking noises but after a night of play the noises have seem to have gone. Doesn't feel soft, feels more like a Moori med. It's only been a couple days with it...but so far feels great...

Just got one installed today, Kamui Black soft rocks, not really a soft tip, more medium than anything, I hope it won't get hard like most layered tips. Cannot believe the tip height... is this why you get so much spin? I can imagine as the tip height lessens, you loose a little performance...
