    making a table play faster

Hey Grey ghost, that sounds like a good idea, but does it make the cueball slide like it's on brand new cloth? Also a lighter weightball set, and a ball cleaner is a good way to keep the speed up.

    Ball Cleaner

the ballstars do a great job, 8 balls at a time, around $400 - $450 range, well worth it.

    Feeling of tiger shaft?

I have both the WD700 and HP2 shafts, to me the HP2 has a slight duller hit than the WD700. But the HP2 can give you more spin. Both shafts are have more feedback than allot of other low deflection shafts. Try a WD700, you cannot go wrong... best of luck to you...

What current tip is closest to Moori II?

to me, the wizards are a harder, and the wizards also have a odd clicking noise that you get from allot of layered tips. my recomendation is the DaVinci's from Longoni, they hold chalk really well and feel like a Moori. Not much info on these tips here. If you want more cueball spin, try the...

    Cuetec R360

I got my R360 last night, I am currently shooting with a Mezz WD700. And was pretty excited to compare the two shafts. Well after unboxing the R360, rolled both the shaft and the butt on my table, and they had sent me a shaft with a slight wobble in it...ahhhh! So my deflection test may not...

    DaVinci tips, anyone use them?

Just tried a DaVinci soft, feels good, accepts chalk very well, the tip made some clicking noises but after a night of play the noises have seem to have gone. Doesn't feel soft, feels more like a Moori med. It's only been a couple days with it...but so far feels great...

    What's wrong with Europe?

having seen most of the matches right until day 4, missed the singles today. But the team europe is full of talent, and playing on a team just puts a little more on your shoulders, all of them struggled when the pressure was on. And with that lead into day 4, to much of a task to win from...

    Expensive chalk

Maybe you are searching for the NIR chalk: http://www.seyberts.com/products/NIR_Chalk-100626-10126.html it's messy as well, but grabs to the tip like no other, the table gets messy and your hands and shaft get a little blue, but with all the extra work cleaning up, it's worth it. Allot of the...

Can I get reviews on Kamui tips please

Just got one installed today, Kamui Black soft rocks, not really a soft tip, more medium than anything, I hope it won't get hard like most layered tips. Cannot believe the tip height... is this why you get so much spin? I can imagine as the tip height lessens, you loose a little performance...

blue diamond chalk vs. NIR chalk

wow, kinda surprised about the NIR reply's, on the other hand, I had the first few chalks of Blue Diamond were good, but the last batch from them seemed like clay and did not stick to my tip at tall. The NIR stuff, it's really gritty, but nothing like confidence when you use it to chalk up. I...

Can a Uni-lock joint be changed?

Send Kevin Varney here a pm, he's pretty reasonable with his pricing. Also be sure to ask what joint pins he recomends for your cue..?

Can a Uni-lock joint be changed?

You can have Kevin Varney change the joint, if he's busy it might take awhile. But rest asured he does very good work. He did a Predator SP for me awhile back. And it turned out very nicely. Speaking of the R360, what about it do you prefer over the Predator? Does it give you a decent firm...
