My friends,
Have you ever used tiger shaft? Does it play good? I want some advice before I buy one. does it play like 314? or mezz wd700? or z shaft? I enjoy the shaft a little bit soft. Also does G shaft play good? Thanks
I have both the WD700 and HP2 shafts, to me the HP2 has a slight duller hit than the WD700. But the HP2 can give you more spin. Both shafts are have more feedback than allot of other low deflection shafts.
Try a WD700, you cannot go wrong...
best of luck to you...
I've played with OB, predator and Tiger. Of the three the IMO the Tiger has the best feel. One thing I noticed about the tiger that I didn't get with the other two is that I can make incredible cut shots with it. Places where you can't believe the ball will even go. If I were to buy a new shaft it would be a Tiger.
That's exactly how I describe them...a nice balance between the two for those that don't want to go all the way with LD (read: softer hit with OB-1 being the softest of all).Feels like a cross between a great custom shaft and an LD shaft.
I've played with a ton of low deflection shafts,my opinion is the tiger shafts are very good but I still think the 1st generation predator shafts is the best low deflection shaft ever made. That's exactly how I describe them...a nice balance between the two for those that don't want to go all the way with LD (read: softer hit with OB-1 being the softest of all).
The Tiger Ultra X is my new favorite of all the aftermarket shafts. Plays a little stiffer and much more solid than a 314^2 or OB-1. Feels like a cross between a great custom shaft and an LD shaft.
This is the same way I feel about the Tiger Ultra X shaft as well, I think it is in between a Predator 314-2 and a standard maple shaft.
