I am sure if you ask a custom cue maker he could nail your butt diameter within a .001 of an inch with a predator shaft for probably not much more than you will pay for a new Predator.

Many times the forearm is not warped but the butt's A joint has gone bad and the handle section needs to be replaced.

Bem Try Gilmer Woods. Good Birdseye or the elite stuff you are looking for is expensive. The buyer of your cue needs to be educated it isn't like it was 10 years ago when it comes to top notch BEM. I built an all birdseye cue and the 31" blank cost me $75.

There is a wood tenon underneath the ferule. It is not threaded so when removing the old one, make small passes. Some times there may be structural damage to the tenon depending on how bad the ferule damage was. If you do not have a lathe or you have never replaced a ferule I'd pass it on to...

When I see G10 or Linen Phenolic fail it is because the top of the tenon does not bottom out flush to the inside of the tapped ferule causing hydraulic pressure.

I play with a cocobolo OB hustler for over a year. Love the way it plays and breaks. Best hitting hustler I've ever had.
