Need some input on this cue!

The overall size of the inlays are a little too large for my taste, but that could just be me. IMO, the smaller the better, to a point that is... I once ordered a case from Jack Justis that he said was "sadle brown." When it arrived, it was the most butt ugly color of orange that I could...

    Help? Identifying Brunswick-Balke-Collender Cue

It is a nice old piece with an ivory joint. In general, the cues without veneers on the points have relatively little value. IMO, this one is in the $100-$200 range. Your mileage may vary.

I would like to respond, but need some time to research the facts and formulate an intelligent response. - Cocobolo Cowboy  I love punctuation and grammer!!! - random AZ member TS cues are over-rated. - Nick Serdula Let me keep this brief . . . - scdiveteam

    Sales / Wanted rules Update

DING * DING * DING We have a winnner! Is anybody listening? Seems like the perfect compromise to me. E-bay links out of the WFS section for those who don't want them, yet they are still available in another section for those who do. If someone would make this happen we could all stop...

    "Stupendous" Old School Pantograph Artist

Those are some great looking cues. For those unfamiliar with Stew's work, you can look him up in the Blue Book of Cues. He has worked behind the scenes with Hall of Fame cue makers for many years.

    Lines on table?

Seems like a waste of time. You can use 3 ring binder hole reinforcering stickers if you want to temporarily mark ball positions for practice, but if you must mark the whole grid, a chalk line would help speed the process.

    Wood id

Very difficult without more detailed pictures of the grain. My best guess right now is bubinga, but that's almost a shot in the dark given the current pics.

    Opinions wanted

Capitalism knows nothing about geography. I see no problem. US cue makers should be known as the best because of their quality and design, not because of politics or mandate. As a customer, you cast a vote when you make a purchase. Vote for what is important to you.
