    New Method For Attaching Cloth?????

You are correct Pat, Glen has been experimenting with double stick tape and has talked with me about it's applications. I'm wondering if it's the same or similar product that was demonstrated? I'm sure RKC will chime in on the matter. Jay

    New Method For Attaching Cloth?????

Thanks, very informative! I would like to try it out some time. Is the tape hard to remove when you recover the next time? I did hear you say you can't "re-stick" the cloth after embedding it. I sent you some rep points (the green bars under your name) for your efforts. I can also see many...

    Carom Table Cushion Questions

Jamie, Three possible explanations. 1, The liners are very slightly loose from the rail caps. 2, The flat shims used to get rid of the hop are sliding, fractionally under impact from the balls. 3, The P79 rubber is was not properly glued to the liners when it was replaced. To be honest, I...

Why doesn't someone have this as a business?

Banger, From my friends down in your area, word is, the Texas and Louisiana economy is still pretty strong. Pool rooms are doing fairly well. As long as this holds, Gold crown prices will stay at fair ($1200-$2000) prices. On the east coast, pool rooms have been dropping like flies, flooding...

Why doesn't someone have this as a business?

You can make a profit when you sell the table. The issue these days with 9 ft commercial tables is the buying market is very soft. virtually no new pool rooms opening, Craigslist selling GC 1,2,and 3 for under $1000.00 on a daily basis. The acquisition cost is down but the resale time is way...

    Continued use of pocket reducers?

What type of reducer are you using? The ones with the coil spring in the middle haven't caused any damage on the tables I've worked on. They actually reduce wear to the cloth in the pockets. Jay
