I have a Soren Sogaard Billiard table. The installed cushions are no. 79 profile. The cushions have been replaced at some point (don't know when), as the corners do not have the perfect factory 45 deg mitre. The table plays pretty true, but a little slow with one laminate thickness for a shim. The shim was placed to eliminate hopping, which was quite severe without shimming. However, every shot you can hear a thump or thud sound, even at very slow speed. Any ideas what could be causing the thumping? Is it possible to use P37 rubber in the place of the 79 without making new rail liners?
