Amazing pool shots from Efren Reyes

Is that what it was called, John? Because that was incredibly 2 o'clock, with 1 1/2 English, hitting it with hard - very hard stroke. That's Magician Bata for ya!

    Raymond Ceulemans and Artemis Cues

But, of course like WesleyW said it himself, you will definately get what you payed for. (Referring to WesleyW) Hey man, I thought all along that you were from the US!! That is quite the unpleasant surprise. Heard of Martin Van Rhee before? He's some killer artistic carom player I tell you!

    Raymond Ceulemans and Artemis Cues

Are you in France right now? If you are willing to, perhaps, go over to their distribution and try out their cues. Otherwise, I would go with two affordable costing cues that will leave you with extra euros so that you and your papa can as well spend time buying other necessities or billiard...

    Raymond Ceulemans and Artemis Cues

What is on your budget, Hernan? I say: Give it a go and buy the Ceuleman's carom cue for you and your jefe. As far as taxes returning back to the US, that is for you to do the research because I am not too sure if they apply taxes for cues.

What is your opinion of my cue (swerve/squirt)

Two things I can only tell you, Wesley man. 1) Back-Hand English to create swerve. 2) start hitting all your shots soft to compensate the squirt if you're gonna move your cue to it's specific English. Works for me... might not be so for the others  . Masse shots: I use squirt most of...

What is your opinion of my cue (swerve/squirt)

.......curve...... for instance: hit the cueball with center first, then (without moving your bridge) pivot the cue to either left or right. Say you moved your tip to the right (one tip) and you hit it with moderate speed. What will happen is that when you stroke the shot, it will move to the...

What is your opinion of my cue (swerve/squirt)

Swerve (and deflection) is important--no doubt. Without it, we couldn't configure our masse shots. My recommendation is: if you want to play with a non-deflective shaft, stick with a Predator Z^2 (as you may have heard this gagillion times :) ) but if you would perfer a consistant shaft, go...

What is your opinion of my cue (swerve/squirt)

What I think about deflection (squirt) and curve ("swerve") Forget about those concepts. Get used to both of them because it will be to your advantage. First of all, try to stay away from the thick, "nappy" slow cloth that you play on either the coin-op "bar" tables or what-have-you. The reason...

    I have a problem...

Say Inzombiac, If you're so fascinated by billiards, why don't you: a) get into a pool table repairman business b) get into a cue making/cue repair business c) go around the world and look for different forms of games (and write an elaborated jornal about it d) or just consider going pro (and...

    For all the SVB worshipers . . . .

That's funny that Mariano is saying this because De Luna has been in this spot before and lost once again to Stepanov (10-4). Van Boening is a first timer in the WPC, so he's "tasting blood". I read this whole blog and from what I noticed is that Mariano just relies on the hard "luck shots" and...

your thoughts about the prince of Brunei being in the WPC !

Well in your case, why doesn't he start from the ground up just like all of us? "Money Talks... blah blah blah.." That's a bunch of bull poopy! Money will only get you your accessories but it will never get you "Efren Reyes (Earl Strickland or whathaveyou) style" of play... NEVER. Let's dump...

Very Happy Earl The Pearl Is Back

What is most suprising is that the things he said about the break and Jump cues are a complete condradiction to which he uses to his advantage. If Earl can keep up with how the young bloods are accustomed to do and if his attitude is in complete check (like ICON of SIN mentioned), then I believe...

    Jumping with a full cue

That, Eric, is very true! It is usually when there is nappy (fluffy, thick) cloth is when jump shots are usually more effective whereas simonis is quite thin and hard to hop. When you hit a jump shot, it creates a tiny divit which makes the ball have that hop. Skill is much more required to...
