Need information on how to play 3 Cushion Billiards

I also enjoy 3 cushion. Didn't think I would like a game with no pockets. Where I live there likely is a Billiards table (no pockets, 5' x 10') to play 3 Cushion on with a 100 miles, but still I am wanting to learn it. Also think it can help in playing 8 or 9 ball.

If I get one helpful point from the book it will be worth it It' not worth the hassile of the canceling process. I will look over the book, if helps me in ONE way in my game then it was worth it, otherwise I should be able to sell it and get my money back. Thanks anway.

Need information on how to play 3 Cushion Billiards

I'm still around. Miss you all, I have just been real busy. My interest in the past year has been in "3 Cushion Billiards" (before seeing it on TV). I really would like to learn to play the game and how to understand all the angles, diamond system(s), etc., that make a good 3 Cushion Billiard...

Thanks, with your input I just bought the book used at Amazon. Also, I wasn't aware of AZ billiards "carom" forum. Thanks! Hey I'm new at this game, so I choose to not answer that - lol! Jim "preacherman"

Beating on a 63 year old man "Fast Larry" - Shame on you! Eric, I don't jump into these types of forums. But people that hit a 63 year old man (Larry was born in 1943) regardless of what has been said of you in the past - Shame on you. Be it also known that in the fall of 2005 (not very...

    Mali Cues

I have an older Mali!!! I have an older Mali, I got it on ebay and I have used it for the better part of the last 3 years. I don't think this is my final cue. But for a cheaper cue it is good IMO. I can't afford an expensive cue, when that day comes, we'll put the Mali away, but until then...

What Pro has that absolute best brake?

I agree with your post 100%, and while there may be a level of "good luck" or "back luck" in a break. I still think there is alot of skill in having a break as good as Johnny. At the pro level I don't think it's fair to say that a break is merely good luck or back luck with the roll of the...

What Pro has that absolute best brake?

I wanted some feedback before I gave my thoughts on the matter. I used to think Bustamante had the best break, but in the last couple years of watching Archer, I definetely believe he has the best brake of any pro. He is so consistant, strong, GREAT follow through and still keeps his cue ball...

What Pro has that absolute best brake?

I'm not going to say who I believe has the all around best brake (just yet). Include factors of: speed, accuracy, cue ball control and success. I'm talking a real brake, not one of those light brakes some have turned too. Personally, I think it is a narrow field, let see what you all say...

Who Would Like To See More Of Buddy Commentating?

Yes, Mitch is a professional commentator, he just doesn't know the game that well. No comparison IMO to Buddy. Buddy knows the game. Nothing against Mitch, but I would love to see Buddy explain shots, etc.

Who Would Like To See More Of Buddy Commentating?

I enjoyed Buddy's commentating very much. He is not the best voice wise or grammar wise, but as I told someone that is not why I am watching pool. I really enjoyed him much more than Mitch (on ESPN). Buddy does a great job explaining the game and each shot. I think that adds alot to it for the...

What do you guys drink while shooting pool?

Chris, I found it a pleasant observation too. Most who responded to this post do not drink and play pool. Some images are worth getting rid of, and drunk pool players is a great image for us to get rid of. Jim "preacherman"

What do you guys drink while shooting pool?

I drink only water. I hope to see more people (as some already have posted) clearify that good pool playing and being completely sober (and drug free) is possible, and best! Jim 'preacherman"
