One of the best unmentioned hustlers...

Hawaiian Brians Thrasher, Hawaiian Brians is located at 1680 Kapiolani Blvd. Near the intersection of Kapolani and Atkinson, it is located upstairs in a parking garage right alongside a 24hr Fitness. Some pretty high speed players frequent the place, and you can normally get a game pretty easy...

Pool halls KY If you can get up to Louisville, I used to play at Bankshot. It was located downtown right on the river (although this was about 6-7 years ago).

    Mike Capone cue

Capone I just received mine from Mike right before Christmas. Since the day I first tried it, I have put my South West away and used it exclusively. One of those cues that just felt great in your hands. Balance, fit, finish, everything was top notch. As someone said earlier, the points and...

New shaft for my SW player...

SouthWest Shaft I had SouthWest make another shaft for my cue. It took about 10-12 weeks to receive, but Laurie didn't need the butt and of course it matches perfectly. If you have the time, its probably worth the wait.

I am sure that they are not the "magic" cure-all, and I believe you are correct that stroke and contact point on the cueball have more to do with english, however, I have...

Favorite playing cues Just received a Mike Capone, loved it immediately. Well balanced, smooth natural feeling taper, slim butt that rests easily in the fingers, and it solidly delivers the stroke to the cue ball. Other favorites in my humble collection are: Bender Bluegrass Southwest

    Anyone got an Omen Cue?

Omen Cue Here is one that I picked up last year. Plays well, although I admit I bought it because of its looks. The ring-work and figuring in the cocabolo (cocobolo?) are amazing. Pete's experience and attention detail really shine. Very good buy for the price.
