Gotcha. Well the most intricate of the Niagara Series looks to be the NS-8 or NS-7; the poster from the Wunderlich site highlights the NS-7 forearm inlays. Assuming the NS-7 was at the higher end of things, would it have been around a $7-800 cue (Falcon MSRP)? Now I'm starting to question...

Yeah, it does. The inlay design on the butt is different though, and the Ottawa 1 looks like a Banff BS-1. Do you have the MSRP for the O-1?

Thanks, I had hoped it was one of the older Mississauga-made cues. When I got my AC cue I think it was mere weeks before Falcon shut down their Mississauga plant. Do your old catalogs show prices? I'm interested to know what Falcon priced it at when it came out.

I think it is an older series. I got it used; traded my Falcon AC-14 and paid $300 on top of that. I rarely jump and always use a playing cue when doing so, so I had no use for a jump/break AC-series. The seller mentioned that she paid $650 for it. The only mention of the Niagara Series I...

I take that to mean Earl's standard shaft configuration, where the "pro taper" goes almost the entire length of the shaft. So the only taper would be just a few inches from the joint.

Interesting. Does hitting with an unchalked tip damage the tip or balls in any way? I've heard of chunks ripped out of tips from a miscue, but I think that's from hitting way too low - not something you'd do without chalk.
