If you want a Walther...you sure wouldn't be "settling" for an HK. IMHO, you are looking at an upgrade with the HK. The Glock...certainly settling. If you are interested in something in that range, look into the Springfield XD pistols. My Glocks haven't seen daylight since picking up an XD...

I just had an 8' Olhausen done with Simonis 860. I had the table leveled out, but the guys had to add a shim to one piece of slate to get it perfect. They recovered it and charged me $250. Obviously, I already had the felt in hand.

No matter what you decide, I would suggest checking out craigslist.com. I bought my olhausen there. I saw a myriad of tables on craigslist. If you want an inexpensive one or a high end one, one can usually find it on that website.
