Introducing New Custom Cue Wraps..."Need Opinions !"

Extremely unappealing, not plesasant to look at and so forth. Didn't the Sears Minnesota Fats cues have wraps like that?

    Top Coat Finish

Very well said, a good rep headed your way sir! I can't help but remember a bunch of the Wheat Cues posts as almost sounding like sermons from the mount and then wondering "who the heck is that guy?" Barenbrugges cues and how highly they are sought after speaks for themselves.

    Tips of the pros???

TIPS is a very interesting subject to an equipment freak such as myself. I've always thought thought it would be advantageous to use a different shaft/tip combo for different pool games. Something like perhaps using a soft tip and a more flexible shaft for One Pocket and maybe a stiffer...

Don't Bring A Cuestick To A Knife Fight After reading the banter and repartee between Wheat and Barenbrugge, heres a couple of comments and seriously astute observations:eek: 1) Wheat has lots of info on cuemaking and loves to share it. Some of it probably correct and some of it is...

I had a vision today of many pool rooms, and bars closing soon

Ethanol is excellent for burnishing tips and is also very good for putting a final slick and shine on the shaft. As a fuel, it sucks. The lower cost is more than offset by the decreased mileage.

I had a vision today of many pool rooms, and bars closing soon

PoolSleuth- Fall off your hobby horse and hit your head? Reach for the sprouts but grab the loco weed by mistake? You can blame the evironmentalists to some degree, but blame the current crop of politicians and lobbyists in Washington even more. If the recessions deepens, look for certain...

    DiLiberto vs Ronnie Allen rematch?

That's for sure. If Frost gives Chohan weight, I'm going to find as much cash as I can and watch Tony make me some $$$. Chohan wins even up in short sessions. In longer sessions, Chohan wins going away.

    Anatomy of A Mis-Cue

Lots of technical and technique reasons for a miscue but tension (choking) can't be discounted as a big possibility. Tension tends to make a person hurry and not set up correctly or hurry their stroke and jab at the cueball thus the chances for a miscue dramatically increases. The more...

Opinion on a definition of fair offers

Tap, tap, tap to Brian. The market sets the price, end of story. Fair is in the eyes of the beholder. If the cuebuilder supports the list price the dealer, which bought at a discount, can make a buck. With so many new/second tier/unknown cuebuilders building good looking, nice hitting cues...

    One Pocket Books

The 1P books you have are available in various editions from a couple of different sources with prices all over the board. I have a couple of sets and am very aware of what they are worth. If an individual is a collector, he or she may be willing to pay more than a student of 1P that is just...
