Nice simple looking ebony Bender with ivory ferrules and one of the smoothest and softest leather wraps I've ever seen. The white joint is sleeved and it could be ivory but I can't tell for sure. This cue sure hits nice (subjectively speaking)
Question for Bender experts - is it typical for Bender to put different thicknesses (hope thats the right terminology) on the black ringwork on each side of the white joint material? The ring on the shaft is much thicker than the ring on right below the white joint.
The thickness of the ringwork on the shaft matches other Bender shafts that I own.
Was told that perhaps Bender did that so that he could have replacement shafts ready that matches all his cues. That does make sense but sure makes the joint look a little out of whack.
