Depending on brand of mini splits, some will run to 14 below zero. That is the way to go. There might also be rebates available from your electric company.

The slates were not glued together. Really considering taking it apart, gluing the seams and using bondo. I should mention the table is close to my heat source so the frame shrinking some seems perfectly legit. Is it worth taking apart to do the glue and bondo or just do the socket trick? Thanks...

I was there this weekend as well. Both in the stands and on the floor. Maybe I am a little color blind (never detected in any test I ever did) but I had a hard time telling the difference between that 4 and 5 ball.

The TAP area has minis for tap players and then there are open minis which you can sign up at the Hopkins tournament booth. They usually start around Midnight. $20 entry, 9 ball, single elimination, capped at 8 players per mini I believe. Can't remember the race, but I think to 7.

I play TAP. As team Capt my membership is paid but cost $20 a year for other players. Each session is 16 weeks for us and cost $10 per player if you play. So if one of my players plays every week (which usually never happens), then it would be $160 for weekly dues.
