"Into Focus" and a Pre Shot routine

Bob is a great guy. My son and I took a lesson from him awhile back. I really have trouble with distractions. Thanks for the post!

    Kamui chalk review!!!

Pretty interesting stuff. I tried it briefly at the West Coast Cue Show and was impressed. I'll have to obtain some when it becomes readily available.

There is a Cuetec Thunderbolt for $125.00 on here someplace. Pretty good first cue.

Is Oregon a dead spot for pool?

There is allot of interest in pool in Oregon. No real halls in the areas I visit. Mostly the Eugene and Florence area. Quite a few bars with two tables or more.

Bought a Ob-2 Shaft off the bay....

That is frustrating. Some sellers communicate better than others. I'd give it ten days from date of purchase before opening a case with ebay.

Limbsaver X-1 Pool Cue Stick Stabilizer

Limbsaver makes good products. Mostly involving firearms. Do a search in this forum.

    Unity cues!

Unity seems to be producing a quality product at a very competitive price. If they want to keep their identity to themselves that is their right. I agree that the constant hounding is getting really old. I'm sure in time someone will slip up or the cuemakers will decide on their own to...

    What a Finish!

There are probably as many clear coat products as there are colors. IIRC there is a product called Glisten that is super durable. Used on aluminum wheels. I do know the Porsche clear coat is super hard yet flexible. Amazing stuff being produced these days.

Help with search for new cue. Joss?

I would think you could get allot more cue for the money. If your looking for a cue that plays better or looks better is the question. There is a used Mezz here somewhere for allot less money than the Joss and allot more cue. IMHO If I didn't already have one that Mezz would be mine.

    The lightest jump cue

Will there be a non-phenolic ferrule / tip option?

    Pechauer

Pechauers are very well balanced in my experience. I don't play with it much since my son has adopted it. But they are a very good quality production cue. To me the hit is a bit stiffer than the Joss I have. I would put a stiffer shaft on it if it were my player. Mine is pretty old.

Do we really need 10 stickys?

The whole idea of stickies is to have FAQ's, rules and other always asked info at the top of the page. Everybody might not need them but if it were my forum I would leave them and add more as the need arose.

    Family Friendly Pool Room

Anywhere near a school, park or any public building would probably be disastrous. I worked for a liquor chain that was sold to a not to bright bunch. I left and went on with life. This was in the seventies. They had a great idea and opened a new store and moved there warehouse directly across...

    TAR DCC stream on now

Your good. They just have the recording of yesterdays match paused. Or they have a major malfunction.
