    FEEDBACK WANTED: 2014 US Open

And why can't q-masters be the venue? First, thank you Barry for the creating and maintaining the most prestigious tournament to win and even play in. That is a remarkable achievement. As for what's done specifically at the us open, do what makes you happy. Professional venues are...

Brand New Diamond Professional 8' on eBay for $949. Too good to be true?

Hope Diamond Stays Strong Given what I've noticed recently, too, with Diamond on Ebay, and considering the state of the pool industry, makes you wonder... As a player, I see Diamond as makers of fantastic products, innovative, and a great steward of the game by giving back to the industry...

For those that are always hoping to compare Poker to Pool

Learning Question on Poker This is a loaded question, I'm sure; But is there any structured or semi-structured path to learning poker? How does one gauge their speed and improve? Sheldon Adelson aside, I just don't think you stop online gaming forever.

So where is the Bonus Ball annoucement?

Website is very well done. Absolutely. Beyond their video gear, probably one of their only sale-able assets as a turnkey PPV web app (although I never did buy the PPV, so can't really tell 100%) Site might make a good upgrade for TAR or especially Accu-Stats in the fire sale...

Good interview by Hatch Really set the context pretty well. He struggled, for sure, but a win is a win. Come on boys!

Mosconi Cup 2012 Day (3) Discussion

Tank - Yea, Hatch did dog it. Absolutely And it didn't skid on him. No doubt. But there seems to be lots of skids in relative few amount of games with near perfect equipment.

Mosconi Cup 2012 Day (3) Discussion

The measle ball is a joke not saying that what the top players say is the 'gospel', but I recall Hatch and Dechaine both saying the measle ball skids, swerves more and is junk. It's gotta be something with the balls (or cue ball as you point out). Since the conditions are pretty much...

Mosconi Cup 2012 Day 2 Discussion

As a Buffalo Boy at Heart, Hatch Deserves a Medal! There's a time and a place for 'friendly' antics to fire up the crowd. And IMO, the Mosconi Cup is one of them. Dennis Hatch from Buffalo, NY is exactly what Team USA needs. Good for him.

ABP/US Open - So what is the next move??

Jam is Absolutely Right - Go After the Source I've read this thread with a combination of anger and frustration - the hubris of the ABP is astounding. But JAM is right, specifically: "If people who are not happy with the ABP, Charlie Williams, and Dragon voice their concerns to industry...

Who is the Professional Governing Body with Official Rankings?

If you're not part of the answer, you're part of the problem Mr. Griffin made some excellent points in his post relative to at least some culpability on behalf of Mr. Walsh in his workings with the ABP. While I can only gather information on Mr. Walsh from this forum as I do not know him, I...

    Jason "buffalo" hunt

Update - Jason Hunt I follow the Buffalo pool scene from time-to-time. Anyways, I thought this was interesting. Bison Billliards is the main players room in and around Buffalo: http://bisonbilliards.com/2012/06/28/jason-hunt-is-banned-from-bison-billiards-for-life/

Dechaine vs Hatch - Day 3

Interesting Ending / Congrats to Dechaine I was pulling for Dennis all the way, but hats off to Dechaine. He earned every ball in his victory and showed great resiliency. Frankly, I didn't think Dechaine had a chance. Boy, was I SUPER WRONG. Good for him.

Simple Question About Red Circle Very interesting comments on the video about the Red Circle vs Measle Ball. Go to: 47:00 - start w/commentary on Valley Forge. My question is, are these two cue balls below the same: Aramith Red Circle - probably what they are referring to...
