I think I've seen cues like that for sale at the Porn Shop.

Although I don't think a 3d printed pool cue is really what I would want, the 3d printers are pretty cool. Around $1600 for one.

"They" say that it won't be too many years and every household will have one.

I immediately thought of the Dooley handle by stealth cues.

I wonder if he could make it look like a 29 inch dong, other than that I see no purpose for a plastic "3d" art cue...

Well...from what I understand...3D printer will be able to print not just with plastic but going forward wood particle as well. Structurally, I think it will still be weak...similar to lego cues? Anyone seem that :)

But, it's possible to get wood particle for all different kind of wood going forward so I think you u can program it, you can build some very fancy looking cue. The cool part is that once it's program, it's replicated very easily and custom feature can be changed, weight distribution can be programmed and calculated, taper will be exact each time.

Add a real finish to the end product and you might have a decent playing cue. I would be charging 2,000 to 5,000 to make one of these future cues since the cost of material alone will be significant. Maybe next year, I will be taken order :) for these fancy cues. Anyone interested?

Heck....you can even built the titanium pin and joint collar from these 3D device and install them on the cues. Every parts of the cue like Ring Work etc...will be very easy to make.

However the weak link here is the structure of the end product...as everything is layered so I think they it will not be very strong. But who know...one day...I will be selling just the design of the cue and upload to you so that you can print the cue out yourself with the required ingredient.

BR,
Duc.
