Neflix has a very good show I just watched, The Men Who Built America I think it's called. About the big names like Carnege, Morgan and Rockefeller.

Quite interesting about their business practices in an un-regulated America. Similar to the unethical businesses that Kevin ran..

Surprising to some, not so much to others, The Brunswick Empire was not unlike many of the more well known monopolies. Brutal pirates would be saying it nicely. And down right cold hearted to their own family members in some cases. So much so, that the government enacted a special piece of legislation* specifically to thwart them.

Just watched the brief KT exposé . . . he's even worse than we realized. And sadly, he'll likely be living quiet well after probably serving no more than two-thirds of the ten-year sentence.

Let's hope he doesn't enter politics somewhere when he gets out, although that would seem a natural fit after he inevitably finds religion in prison.

Wonder if he might be swapping emails with Bernie Madoff as we speak.

This go around we actually have a 3rd party candidate that is gaining some steam. He may not be your man but I think its going to be interesting to see how many people choose to support him because hes not singing the same tune as the other two parties.

One thing is sure...he will still not have paid the $37 million dollar fine...and he will likely have access to millions of dollars in hidden assets, whether they are here or abroad.

Yes, two (or more) sides to every coin. I've been on a health quest for the past 5 years, and I'm a firm believer that one's lifestyle has more to do with one's overall health, than anything an MD can do for someone, or anything that a perception pill can do for someone. That said, I'm now actually curious what was in KT's Natural Cures book. Maybe I'll download a copy off of the torrent sites. For sure I would not buy one.

You said that right. When it came to Madoff he had gotten so big that really the SEC should have been concerned they would get sent to jail for allowing him to go unscathed.

How does someone get that big and a regulatory board not recognize it? Think about it a lot of someone knew about Madoff he was way too big.

That is sort of what I thought....Jay mentioned 8.5 yrs I don't see that happening. Sort of like the guy who just got 45 yrs for treating all those people for cancer they didn't have and then cries in court...really. Fer sure-Loved how he used the 'government is out to get me' thing to get the conspiracy guys to buy his books after no one else would!! I know a W coast pool player who probably bought them all.

His best move which im not sure they covered on his show-After getting a quarter million or so of his books returned-he started giving them away for free with "just a $19.99 shipping and handling charge.". You cant get your money back on something you got for "free".

In the case of Trudeau, as dodgy as he seems, his main crime was competing against the government backed medical monopoly. How dare one promote alternative ideas of medicine when the experts are knocking off the schmucks by the hundreds of thousands every year by iatrogenic means. Now I would not take Trudeau's advice as gospel, that's for sure, but I find the idea of banning alternative means of medicine from being allowed to make any claims both dangerous and immoral.
