★ world 9 ball championship ★ qatar★

The way Shane is breaking and playing, I'd have him 11-6 or similar ratio in the final unless his break deserts him and his opponent's break improves. He's running 2 and 3 rail patterns almost flawlessly, so hard to see him not finishing nearly every run opportunity he gets.

Big Ko survives his minor position error onto the three ball, running out for 9-8.

What's your thoughts on the long break from his quick victory and the back and forth match going down to the wire by Pin Yi and Jia Qing?

I would assume it would have to work out in Shane's favor since his opponent would just be getting over the stress/pressure relief and then back into the pressure cooker.

But the flip side could be, the opponent is still warmed up and ready to go.

Wu with a brilliant jump in of the two ball when he absolutely had to have it. The level of play is very high right now in this one.

Wu runs them out for 9-9. Two champions pushing each other to the limit right now. Great stuff!

I think it's a slight advantage to SVB, but it's a short day for them both by tourney standards, and they play 5-6 hour plus days often, so I wouldn't read much into it unless they'd played a couple of matches previous to these on the same day.

And add to this, Shane's not off sleeping or playing chess just befor his match.

Big Ko the first to the hill, leading 10-9. His level of play since 6-2 behind has been just plain ridiculous.

We've gone double hill in this brilliantly played match, 10-10, with Big Ko to break. What a semifinal!
