Thanks guys, I'm thinking it might be the security here at work. Guess I'll be using my phone. At least I have that.
 
And it begins. It actually started a couple of minutes early. Ko won the lag, started with a good break, but misjudged position and hooked himself. Out comes the jump cue.
 
Rack one came down to a safety battle won by Ko. Shane didn't need his moves game in the semis, but he may need it in the final. We shall see.

A little bit of a psychological test there: Shane pushed out to long tough shot from the rail, Ko turned it down and Shane got up and made the shot.
 
SVB jacked up on the two after the break and wisely pushes into a tough shot. Ko, surprisingly to me, gave it back and SVB made it and ran out. Excellent stuff from SVB and it is 1-1.

Argument for shooting it was that at relatively slow speed, the undercut would merely start a safety battle. In my estimation, with tow possible acceptable results, a Filipino would have shot it rather than giving it back.
