If you sign up for Accu-Stats video of the month club it gives you a significant discount on the videos. Every month they'll send you a video for $10+shipping and you can purchase any additional videos for $10 (on most accustats videos) Plus you can tell Pat what you are interested in (1 pocket :thumbupand he'll only send you those videos. You can call every month and tell him what match you'd like or they can send you one that they pick out. All in all not a bad deal for $10 a month.
WOW! This is GREAT info! That's who I was going to visit this week to purchase my vids (accu-stats), so thank you!!
I am also going to check out Freddy's site, too.
Funny this should come up, because I have a stack of 1pocket DVDs on my desk at the moment. I'm going to the DCC next week and one of the things I like to do before "jumping into the deep end" is watch a few matches to kind of refresh my thinking. So I have this stack of maybe 20 DVDs, and yesterday I shuffled through them and here's what I put at the top of the stack:
Efren vs Buddy
Efren vs Shannon
Steve Cook vs Mizerak
Joyner vs Gabe
The thing is, the way I unconsciously sorted them was not a question of the quality of the match, per se, but more a matter of seeing different thinking and styles and watching the players I consider to be the best.
Speaking just generally, and having watched most of the Accu-Stats 1pocket library, IMO the most insightful 1pocket commentator is Billy. The best commentary team was Billy and Grady -- you would often get two totally different takes on a particular shot situation and both could articulate a valid justification for what they were thinking. The most entertaining 1pocket commentator is Freddy, particularly the commentary he did on several matches at the Kalamazoo US Open 1pocket tournament one year. Really funny stuff

This is awesome - exactly what I was looking for! Thank you, Lou!
Ironically, I pm'd Billy for lessons a few months back (we live in the same metroplex) but he said he was super busy right now.
