Which is why the owners of AZ would probably prefer not have these type of threads made on their site.

You can pretty much thank one of our regular posters here for perpetuating this one in the first place and now waxing innocent of the deal.

But, as long as people start them, members are going to post in them.

Its pool related for sure but if thats all that is going to be continually posted is accusations with no proof, whats the point of allowing them.

And as one poster mentioned, you wonder why pool is in the dumps.

Sure, they claim to stick together and be tight. I'd really doubt that the majority of the Pro Players would take the time to pee on each other if they were on fire.

They're only tight when it suits their needs.

You continue to pick scabs and post innuendoes and call people names. Tsk-tsk. Against the rules, BTW.

I don't beat around the bush. It was me that posted on Jimmy's behalf several months ago. He called me up numerous times and told me how sick he was, that he could *not* access AzBilliards. He asked me to do so for him, and I complied, as I would do for any friend who was sick with a terminally ill disease. I also posted, just in case you have a reading comprehension problem, that it was hearsay on my end, that I was providing Jimmy's phone number for all to call and hear it from the horse's mouth.

It was mentioned to me via PM by AzB admin that these topics should not be discussed on their forum -- emphasis on "their forum."

I have tried nicely on this thread to suggest that people leave this alone, but you never drop it. Maybe your life is boring and this is more of a thrill-seeking venture for you to post on threads like this and keep the flame burning.

You've mentioned my name on Mark Griffin's thread, and now you do it again here. If there was ever a troll-like behavior, well, you sure are emulating one.

And don't put words in my mouth, either. I relayed a message for Jimmy on this forum, again, as I would do for any terminally ill friend. I also posted his phone number for folks to hear it from him. I stated over and over and over again that what I was writing was hearsay I received from Jimmy, but you continue to twist words to feed a flame. This is what your intention is. It's not just me. I've seen you do it to other members. Jimmy could not access this forum at that time, and he was upset. I'd do it again today if I was asked to.

Yer partially right. When I first started posting here, I mainly stuck to teasing people and telling jokes. And trying to help people out with their repair problems.

I guess after a certain amount of time reading threads like Max's as of late, your polls trying to cause trouble for Bonus Ball etc, I found it easy once in a while to lose sight of how I prefer to spend my time here.

See, you think that everything that you say and post is perfect and yet you can see perfectly the faults of others.

Causing hurt and harm. hardly my intention. I didn't start the latest Tor thread but I am also along with other supporters, not to to sit around and like it or let it happen either.

Anyone who cannot access AZ billiards obviously knows nearly zero about technology. Someone with this lack of understanding about the modern world probably also can't understand the concept of why what Tor produced is not stealing anything. For the life of me I can't understand why people keep bringing this back to this forum. If someone thinks he stole then sue him. If not STFU and get over it already. Let the man die in peace.

Max, it's not my intention to go on the attack here, I hope you understand that. Even CJ's TOI system isn't original. I've heard for 30 years about "spinning the ball in with helping side (helping English for Americans)". It's the same system. It's not new, but CJ's method of teaching it is. You could sell a system called, "Hint of Helping Side", and tell us, "Vegetables are the answer!" You would be able to teach people who couldn't grasp CJ's method. You wouldn't be stealing.

i would have to say that the ideal pool forum would have no posting from 11a-3a because everyone would be playing pool. i can only assume that everyone here was in debate club in high school and wants to keep the skills sharp. we all have something to share with eachother be it tips or stories or cues and supplies...instead we try to put each other down and have tobe right and have the last word on things. just something for everyone(me included) to think about this evening

Here is my thought on this. AZB needs a committee of trusted members who are anonymous to deal with this type of stuff.

Specifically I am referring to defamatory accusations.

My thought is that when such a thread is started it is immediately sandboxed and the accuser is asked to present their proof and the accused is asked to present their defense and then both sides are considered as to whether the thread is allowed to stand or not. This committee does not and cannot say whether the allegations are true or not without more investigation but they can make a determination as to whether the allegation belongs on AZB or not.

To me this would cut way down on the amount of baseless accusations bandied about and encourage anyone who has REAL proof of wrongdoing to publish that and discourage those who don't have proof and who are simply emotionally charged when they decide to post accusations of wrongdoing, both moral and criminal.
