Thank you for the Initial post Steve.


Yes Pat and i will be playing a 125 point game with a Special Guest Commentator.

What is gonna be unique about our match is that we are doing "Player Review - Live", meaning that whoever isnt at the table will be in the booth doing some commentary with the guest speaker.

Pat and i had discussed both of us being hooked up wireless, so we all can speak in game and from the sidelines. but pat only has 1 wireless headset, we still have alot of tinkering to do and alot of "What If" scenarios to play out.

Whatever happens i am so proud to have this awesome opportunity to play another game with Pat. I do not claim or boast to be a great player, nor to be able to beat or hang with pat on the table. i played Pat once at a Quaterly tourney held in NJ at comet, and it was one of the most memorable games that i have ever played. Not that either of us played great, just the magnitude of the match because of who i was playing was so important to me that i wanted to do it all again !!

This match means so much to me that i wanted to share it all with you guys, win or lose it will make me real proud if you can all sign on and show your support ! Hopefully i wont be too nervous and i will be able to shoot some what of a good game.

OK, great. I missed the date at the top. That is really good. I will make sure that nothing is going on next Sunday afternoon.

I'll just pass on to you something that Randyg said to me 20+ years ago just prior to a match I had with Cowboy Jimmy Moore.

"What a wonderful opportunity and honor for you to be able to play against and learn from a legend."

That statement changed my attitude, and in a way changed my life and my perspective in regards to challenges.

I hope that in some small way the assistance I have provided to you can be put to good use in this challenge. Best of luck to both of you!
 
Can't wait to watch you guys play!! This has been in the works for a while now! Im excited to see it happeneing! No matter what the outcome is, its gonna be great to see!

LOL we didn't name anyone cause we weren't sure if you were coming or not since you have a tourney that day...if you aren't there we are gonna have someone else fill in so there is always someone in the booth. :) Hopefully you make it. I know Steve really wants you there!

This is great to hear, I am looking forward to watching the match! Thanks to Steve and Pat for playing this, and for AccuStats for streaming it for us!

I love the format as well where you guys will be talking during the game, I think that may be the best part for me.
 
I've been puting in a good amount practice in to try to be ready, I hope Pat is doing the same.

I would really love to see Pat hit me with a nice multi rack run !
