Here is an absolute beauty and a player with some cool history behind it.

Shaft is 13.21mm and weighs 4.5oz. with a micarta ferrule on it, Wizard Medium tip. The butt weighs 15.9oz and the cue is 57.25" long. Just refinished by Proficient. Butt is straight and shaft has a slight taper roll.
Does NOT effect play in ANY way.

I won this circa 1973 Joss West cue from Louie in 1974 or 1975 in Baton Rouge, LA. ( I was getting a ton of weight from Louie) it was manufactured be master cue maker Bill Stroud. 1973 was the first full year Bill Stroud and Danny Janes ( of Joss ) cues had split up. keep in mind Louie Roberts owned many cues before this one, and at least 3-4 times he tried to buy it back from me, but i wouldn't because i had fallen in love with the cue, and wanted to keep it because it belonged to St. Louie Louie. I played with the cue until 1985 and retired it and me. When i sold the cue to Chad it was in the same Black Fellini case that Louie was carrying it in. I talked to Bill Stroud when i sold the cue and he told me the cue would easily bring $1500.00 if it were not owned by a legend. Bill could not remember who bought the cue 30 yrs ago as at that time many top players played with JW cues.
