I bought this cue about 6 years ago from either Duc, or Raist (can't remember, who's in Singapore?).

This cue was refinished by Bill Stroud right before I bought it, and is still in that same condition, excellent!

One of the last of the true hand-spliced JW's. Sharp, even Ebony points & veneers (Holly/Green/Holly/Black) into BEM forearm. Typical JW boxed Jcollars.

Ebony buttsleeve with 4 BEM windows. A notched MOP diamond with 2 MOP dots above & below between each window.

Ivory buttcap with old JW logo.

Weight is between 18.75 & 19.75 depending on where you cut the weight bolt. Weight bolt is currently whole at just under 1 ounce.

2 - straight grained 12.75mm shafts, appears to be ivory ferrules but not 100%. Med. Morri's w/ pads installed, 50% left.

Wrap is very lightly grained black leather and is nicely flushed.

*Rubber bumper is not original*

NO LONGER FOR SALE.

Absolutely GORGEOUS JW!

Possibly a BURTON SPAIN forearm. Little known fact that Bill bought forearms from Spain during this period. Whenever I see perfect points on a 72-80 JW, it's a safe bet that Burton Spain did them.

That is a very, very good guess and the same name came to my mind too when I saw that close-up picture of the points.

If only I hadn't purchased a Capone a month ago I'd be all over this one. Best of luck with the sale.

WWWWWooooooowzers. Notched Diamonds are my vice. Beautiful Beautiful cue.

Will trade my girlfiend. She cooks, Cleans, and is very interesting to talk to. I can ship her freight. Let me know. =)

LOL! I'm good with all that, but can't believe she's interesting to talk to. ;) My ears turn off after about the first three words my girl says, no matter what it's about, LOL.

At least yours cooks and cleans, my girl is still trying to fiure that out...

I guess I have never heard this before. I too, have an old JW, that I just picked up. The veneers are pretty awesome. Who would be a good resource hopefully here, to send pics for an opinion?
