With new SW selling for 3300 .A Franklin era should sell for 4500 to5000.

Bump

Just a bump for my old player and for Tom both are the real deal.

Its going to be interesting to see what this cue sells for...again, i thinks its a buyers market. The final dollar paid is up to who is buying! Every buyer is different. Even the most exotic wood combos might not bring in as much as a basic wood combo. Good luck with the "FEEL"

Micarta ferrule on the original shaft , and i beleive the only thing was some nicks and dents taken out of the shaft........

Correct

What it should sell for isnt the question. I get so tired of people saying its worth a kibillion dollars.

It is worth what the market bears.

NOW IF YOU ARE OFFERING $4500 - $5000 IT IS WORTH IT.

ARE YOU OFFERING ANYTHING??!?!?!??

OR JUST GIVING THIS GUY FALSE HOPE WITH A WILD A$$ ESTIMATE THAT YOU ARENT WILLING TO PAY.

Sorry for the rant but if you make a statement like that, then you should back it up and say "AND I WILL PAY IT"

UGH,

Ken

Agreed Ken, but he was asking for opinions. That doesn't mean he won't get inaccurate ones. I think the new price from SW at $3300 is likely for a 9 pointer or a 6 pointer with 3 veneers and all the fancy rings. I wouldn't add more than about another $300 for a franklin, but would start with a comparable new cue with no veneers or rings like this one, and no special woods.

nice cue tank very interesting

I am buying the cue. I had a very nice conversation with Tom and we came to a price for the cue and a very nice early 2x4 George case.

Thanks Tom, looking forward to finishing the deal and getting my hands on the Franklin.

I think he was having a little fun do to the SW that had the large price on a recent post.:)
Glen is a VERY stand up guy & has made many repeat purchases from me locally.

The cue is going to another great Az'r .
It is a GREAT cue & I am Glad I could make a Az's dream cue happen for them.

Ken - I'm glad you said it!

Looking at the AZ 'for sale' forum lately, I'm wondering what most of you are smoking - sellers AND 'potential buyers' <=== and I use the term 'potential buyers' VERY loosely, as I'm guessing most of these commentators buy their sticks from the local Schmelke dealer at the APA tourneys.

Personally, I wasnt interested in the cue. But assume I was and wanted to buy it at the real price.

Real price is the price I was willing to pay AKA fair market value. IF I offered $2K, now this guy would question if he is getting what it is worth. It seems that everyone is an expert on how much --- I SHOULD PAY FOR SOMETHING.

My other thought is most who offer such nonsense dont have a clue as they havent bought a cue more than a "Collectable Meucci" EVER!

My point is on guns, cars, cues, coins, hell anything. It is worth what the market bears and if you arent making an offer.........what is it that your are really doing but farting with your mouth.

My other pet peeve is "make offer". OMG, give me a break.

LOL, good luck to all my friends here at AZ.

I agree on the 'make offer' thing. If I had to ask for offers, then I wouldn't sell cues on AZ. The point being that I obviously am either clueless as to what I own, or I am creating an email auction which will be a huge hassel and just piss everyone off, or I am looking for a moron to offer me more than fair market value, in which case none of us "non-morons" should bother contacting the seller, because our offers will never get accepted, even if they are fair.
