I don't see how anyone can feel good about buying something in this silent auction format. Usually you make a reasonable offer, and wouldn't you know it, the seller says he's already got an offer for 20% more . . . but does he really? To me this is like asking the seller how much the item is and having him say back to you "well, how much you got?" Just bad business IMO. If you want to sell the item, put a price on it.

BTW, how does one get full green rep in only 65 posts?

HEH, that makes no sense at all. The simple pasage of time does not garner respect. Active participation in a way beneficial to the community does. Thanks for weighing in though . . .

Post First, I'm sorry for busting your balls, you sound like a nice person. I am an Omega fan, and in fact, I build cues with the last cue maker to come out of the Omega shop. I just get frustraited when I see items offered for sale with no price. Just doesn't make sense to me, and it has the potential to deceive honest buyers. I'm sure you had no such intention, but I think we should do away with the practice for the protection of all involved.

Glad to see your cue sold quickly!

It made no sense to take a cheap shot at his reputation in his for sale thread.

It wasn't a cheap shot, it was a legitimate question from an interested buyer to a seller with 0 iTrader feed back and very few posts.

Don't you have something better to do?

Thanks again for your contribution...

Oh yeah, it was a cheap shot, a snide comment at the end of your little rant. You have been here long enough to know that reputation means nothing as far as dealing with someone. Being coy and trying to spin what you said really magnifies your original intent. Case closed.
