Im not a 1p player, but is slow rolling into the 5 ball to freeze the cue to the side of the 12 an option?
For which shot? After the break, or from the head rail?

Jack up a little and hit half the 2 ball with straight right...the 5 goes then cue all caroms forward to run out...come get some!First shot after the break...I go no idea.
I am literally waiting to shoot now, so hurry the f up.

In Texas this is known as shoot and holler shit, or poke and hope.

I THINK THIS IS A STRONG/AGGRESSIVE SHOT AS WELL. I SAID SOMETHING SIMILAR TO THE SITUATION BY USING THE 5,6, AND 9 BALLS. MIGHT HURT YOUR OPPONENT BY DOING THIS.

To me, taking the intentional foul only buys time. What if your opponent intentional fouls and puts you back? You do this twice and you're on two, now what? (still learning myself). I probably would shoot the 5 off the 6, making the 9, and bringing the cue ball 2 rails out of my pocket side and bringing the cue ball to the 'intentional foul' position/area. With a power shot like this, you might send balls to your side and 'flip' the break on your opponent or you might sleep in the street (lol). I think getting out of anyone's break like this is no picnic. Patience is the key here.
Take a foul. I like the two and seven trying to freeze up on them. It requires a good touch. If you execute it and he takes a foul then you accomplished having him go to 9 balls or more if you take a second foul. If he leaves the cue ball there then you might have a safe kick into the 9 ball. I like to play unlimited fouls and then just rack up the balls owed. Those games are winnable.
