Some of the best players in the country play in leagues...I wouldn't label it that way.

Some updates

Payouts increased and the green fee is only $10 now..As this progresses the added money may continue to grow..Keep your eyes open!! Everyone work with me..This is the 1st and biggest tournament I've tried so far!!

Missed Opportunity for me!

This sounds like some fun and good times, Zack. Sorry I'm going to have to miss out. Our OB Cues Ladies Tour is having their last stop of the year, and our Championship Stop this same weekend at Legend's in League City.

Will keep watching for future events though. Since this is your 1st annual, I'm sure there will be more to follow.

Good luck and thanks for keep pool alive in DFW.

Toodles,
Monica

Hey guys

Just so everyone knows...I'm in the process of thinking of a name for this event..It was brought to my attention that the people in Austin that run the Great Texas Open that it is may have a problem with what I currently have it listed as..Just give me some time and I will come up with something.

Great Idea

Great name idea. I will declare in an open forum to let him use "Lonestar" for free !

For the first year only. Thereafter a small fee will be charged that will double per annum and any fees not collected 30 days prior to the tournament shall be calculated at 10% interest compounded every time the tournament thread is bumped.

Lonestar tour

Guys I appreciate the name and I do like it, but I don't want to step on the toes of the great folks down south..

Jim didn't think of that one!

You know I'm just yanking your chain!! LOL.

I'll be there if I'm able! To play or otherwise.

Just leave out the OPEN part if you think it's stepping on toe's. Thought it sounds good the way you posted it. Texas Open is played on 9fts., Texas Open Bar Box, self explanatory. Should not offend anyone.

Count me in what ever you call it! Old guys like bar boxes, it's 2ft closer to our eyes.:p

How about?

How about the word Shootout in the name.

I always liked Tourneys with the name Shootout.

1. The Texas Bar Box Shootout

or

2. The Lonestar Barbox Shootout

{"Lonestar.... my shwartz is bigger than yours" Mel Brooks}

Yeah the Lonestar Bar Box Open sounds good, but any name you put on it is fine as long as barbox is in it I would not see any toes being smashed.
