These cues are being made for me right now. I just got the progress pictures, they will have black leather wraps and brown bumpers on them. I will be keeping one for myself and the other will go to a lucky person at a great price. The forearms were made with 50 year old birdseye maple. Can you guess the cue maker? Enjoy.

What about those handles?

Love the cues of course, I am jealous....

But the handles.....are they flat laminated or radially? They look like just flat but I thought something might be out of view. Was that handle construction something you requested?

EDIT: I looked again. Obviously they are not radially laminated, but I am still interested to hear what you have to say about it. Did you request it?

The handles are made that way to help with any warpage issues in the handle as it comes from PI and is coming here to AZ which is a desert and dry. I have one now but without this handle and its still perfect but better to be safe than sorry. It is ebony and maple laminated together. I wonder how it will affect playability, I will find out when it gets here, maybe purpleheart instead of ebony or ebony and purpleheart might be some good combos too.

I think it's a good idea for warp prevention.

I'll be interested if you note anything in how it feels.

I am curious to see how it plays, that is very important to me as I play often. I am sure it will be different then mine as my cue has an ebony forearm but I will be picking one to keep based on which one I like looks wise since I am sure they will hit identical. They look great though and are better than I imagined them to be, Joel was right on the button with the designs. I am curious as to which one people like the best, I personally am leaning towards the one with the orange acrylic.

Hey man great looking cues .. If they don't work for you . You can sale one to a friend at a great price...

Thanks bud. I am keeping one for sure, leaning toward the orange acrylic so the blue will end up for sale as soon as I get it. I have a handful of PMs interested in them but the orange is not for sale.

I like the one with the blue. Blue is my favorite color, and I really love blue veneers. But even still...it's a close call on that one, if it were my choice it would be a tough one.

Arizona is a good TEST AREA for Cues from a Wet Places. As we are VERY DRY, and VERY HOT a lot of the YEAR! Cue WARP in ARIZONA!
