This would have been really good for Canadian posters a few years ago... We would have gained the taxes back in the exchange rate...

The USA lotto system way different than CDN... You guys win 100 mil $ and get 25 mil $??? The gov takes 1/2... and if you want the money they take another 1/2. Here is Canada... If you win 25 mil $ you get 25 mil $ and sometimes more because the jackpot is estimated... So once prize $$ are added you might get another 2-3 mil $. And get this... When you tell them you want the money, they don't keep half.
