Hello AZ'ers it is getting to be that time of year!!!

SOLD to gkloop the cue is headed to VA -

2008 wrapless SugarTree Shedua player

incredible condition, could pass for new...

plays jam-up!!! stiff as hell!!!

was told by previous owner that this was a personal playing cue of Eric's...

rolls dead straight, together and apart all pieces...

here is some info that I found regarding Shedua -

Shedua: (Guibourtia arnoldiana) (Ovankol, Amazakoue', Amazoue, Ehie, Mozambique) Origin: Western Equatorial Africa - Ghana, the Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Gabon. Shedua ranges in color from Light Yellowish Brown to Dark Grayish Brown. Shedua is in the same family as Bubinga (G. Demeusei). Can grow to heights up to150 feet with diameters of 3 feet or more. Has a yellow-brown to a darker chocolate-brown color with dark brown to black stripes occurring often. The grain is usually interlocked with a moderately coarse texture. Shedua is known for its high figure, which sometimes produces a mottled effect. Avg. Weight (@ 6-8% moisture) : 4.4 Lbs. per Bd. Ft. Shedua dries rapidly with little degrade. Popular with bow makers.

WOW!!!!!!!!!! someone's selling a sugartree and isn't asking for your first born child for it.

someone's going to get a hell of a deal here

I agree poolplayer.....If I had the money right now, I would consider it. Unfortunately, I work for the Veterans Administration and we only get paid every other week...and I just bought a new car..

I swear to god...if I had $1051 to my name...I'd buy this cue and a Coke. *L*

Very nice cue.

The Sugartree that I have has a nice thin butt.... it measures 1.163" at a point 6" above the end of the butt. (my favorite SW measures 1.182" and my playing cue.. my favorite Sailor measures a slim 1.148". It amazes me that my hand can discern such small differences but the SW feels huge after playing with the Sailor.)

Before I further consider this cue I need to know if it will feel nice and thin. Could you please measure the diameter of this cue at a point 6" above the end of the butt?

Thanks, Jim

new measurements added

just added the measurements that you inquired about...

ck the new images in the post...

Sweet Sugartree!

I don't know for sure GP,

But, my guess would be that Eric may have used Elforn for the joint and butt material!? It looks very much like Ivory and has a very solid hit/feel to it ;)

Best of luck with your sale Sir,

Ken

Thanks panhdlce, that picture was taken of me last Halloween before a party...OMG, I want this cue

Ken,

I think that elforn is correct, but Eric could probably validate the build materials...

thanks for the info...

First, awesome cue! Second, not sure if it is you who always sets their thread up this way with the pictures/description, but I love love it, great job.

Are you entertaining trade offers? If so, what would you be looking for? I have a loaded up Joe Callaluca worth a just a bit more than this or a Darrin Hill worth a bit less if you're interested.

Again, awesome job with the pics/description. Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the offer, but at this time I am just looking for a cash sale...

as far as the images go - it takes a little extra work, but I want the buyer to know what he/she is potentially getting...

GP

ST has been sold!!!

Hello AZ...

thanks again!!!

The ST has been sold to gkloop!!!

and is headed to VA...

thanks for the business Gene!!!

Feels really balanced, a tad on the light side, which I like. The tips however will need to be replaced. I'm so use to the soft tips that anything harder just doesn't feel right. All in all, it is a beautiful cue and solid hitting.

thanks again!

now...in search of a Rick Howard!
