Has any made any Pool Related, New Years Resolutions yet?

My list is a short one.

1. I want to loose 20-25 Pounds of BODY FAT as I think this will give me more energy, make late night Tournaments seem not so late into the night.

2. I want to spend more time practicing in general, and learning the Diamond System Better, learning 3, & 4 Rail Kicks, & Banks that is one of those things that drive me crazy trying to master.

3. I want to get out a minimum of one day, or night to play in a Pool Tournament some where in the Valley of the Sun.

Short list all I got to do is stick to it starting JANUARY 1, 2009.

I resolve to be in the same form and then better form than I was when I quit playing 10 years ago by years end.

I think my shape making is actually better now than it was when I quit, but my shot making, defense, banks and kicks need some serious practice.

I would only do it if I could make as many friends as you have:D.

Freinds to me are special people, someone once said if you have more than 10 friends, think again about those you call a freind.

I'm going to the Carolinas, and play bingo with Easy-e!(unless he'll play me pool, of course)

To continue off the booze and cigarettes and beat the hell out of the 9-ball ghost. When I beat the 9-ball ghost I will start playing tournaments a few times a month. Johnnyt

I'll challenge you to a time competition on that one. I need to lose that much, too And it has to be reasonable, not one of those overnight things, coz I'm a heart patient who needs to be careful about that kind of stuff. Dont' wanna go back in that direction, ever again!

So, whatd'ya say? We can check in every Sunday and see who's ahead.

I think smokeandapancak had a "weight-club" on here a year or two ago.

Perhaps we could start such a thing again?

I have lost about 10 pounds in about 1,5 months, but am interested in getting rid of 15-20 more...
