I don't know you at all. It might just be that your writing skills and reading comprehension never made it out of elementary school, and you're really a good guy. Perhaps also you have some issues from early life that leave you very reactionary and defensive, but you're really a good guy. Perhaps you're *really* into pool, and have your self esteem wrapped up in the quality of your game, and believe that everyone else does the same, but you're really a good guy. Hopefully I'm right...the alternative makes you out to be not such a great guy...

Follow up to playing conditions at 2011 APA Masters

I received the following reply from Bill Tufts regarding the 2012 APA Masters in Vegas. I wrote to Bill enquiring about this years Masters and whether the changes outlined in his letter to me last September were going to be implemented.

This is Bill Tufts reply:

I’m glad to hear your team will competing again in the Masters this coming year, and will get to witness some of the changes we are making to this year’s event. We are working hard toward a new layout for the Preregistered Championship room which will allow for a much more comfortable space for play. This new setup should be a radical departure from last year’s setup, and although we cannot fit risers in the MiniMania/Preregistered room for spectator seating, the planned designated seating areas outside of the arena should allow for better viewing of the event. This should also reduce the number of non-players from entering the playing arena. We did have to reduce the number of tables in the room to achieve this setup, but we feel we can still offer plenty of MiniMania events while making the arena more conducive to Masters play without cutting the size of any of our Preregistered events as well. The music, as I stated in September, will be more appropriate, along the lines of classic rock.

I wanted to let you know that we have also been in contact with our table provider to address the concerns of the balls, racks, rails and overall conditions of the tables in the Preregistered room. We are working toward approving these areas for future events, and they are more than willing to work with us to improve the quality of the product on the floor.

We look forward to seeing you August!

Did you talk to him about the team room, the one used for 8-ball and 9-ball teams, being completely empty while the first 2 rounds of the masters event was getting started. Using that room for those rounds would eliminate most of their problems.
