anyone know what's happened to these? there's only about 1/2 or 1/3 of them left. i KNOW i watched some matches that now aren't showing up, including Ray Martin, Sigel, etc.

if i go to the InsidePool Playlist on youtube, it appears that Maybe they're all still there, but most of them say "Sorry, this video is private". you can't even see the name of the match.

Ray was a class act the whole tournament through showing respect to his peers, the fans of 14.1 that came out to the event and of course to the younger generation like Thorsten Mika John and Oliver. The man is a legend of 14.1 and I am both proud and happy to say I got the chance to meet him and watch him play.

Update to the World's videos.

A few of them were still marked for rental only yesterday. I communicated with JR and he fixed it. A few are still marked 99 cents today but when you go into them they are free for viewing and downloading.

AND...

JR said he has some more he will be uploading when he gets time in the next few weeks.
 
I noticed Ortmann changed cues in the middle of the Martin match. I don't remember seeing anybody do that before.
 
i believe Alex also changes cues during one of the matches, maybe the one with Rodney? i was very surprised to see that.
 
Will there be a dvd selection or group for sale of the worlds?
 
I collected a list of names and email addresses and i am not sure if JR is gonna put them to dvd. if he does decide to i will let you all know !!!

for now we all have to settle for the free downloads !!!

I really doubt it. They are downloadable free in high def. They then can be turned into dvds without much trouble. That being the case, I do not see any market or need for dvds.
 
Every time i watch Ray Martin playin i get depressions.....

While watching him is see myself holding the cue like swinging a double-handed-axe :grin:

enjoying youtube 14.1 postings

Watched what is available on youtube of 2011 world 14.1 tournament.. Very happy to see this nice batch of recent 14.1 posted. Commentary by Calvert & Wilke on the Archer/Lynch match was to my liking. Some commentary on a few other matches really got off the subject and sometimes stayed off subject for a long time. I hope this event happens again every year. I have a tough time getting interested in 9-ball.

i also enjoyed Schmidt's video of his 245 ball run in his garage (with commentary)
