2012 VA State 9 Ball Championships Aug 4-5 2012

Hello all VA and DC Players:

It is my pleasure to announce the 2012 Virginia State 9 Ball Championship will be August 4-5 once again at Diamond Billiards in Midlothian, VA.

I am also happy to announce that once again InsidePool Magazine is returning to sponsor the event and we will be Live Streaming the event this year and Simonis Cloth has signed on again as the official cloth of the tournament.

Just a few reminders:

64 player field
$75 Entry Fee
1st and 2nd place get paid entry into the US Open!
Must be a VA or DC resident to participate.
No age restrictions

You can contact the poolroom at 804-794-8787 to sign up. Ask for Thomas, Cindy or Larry.

I decided to lower the entry fee this year because I know that the economy is still not up to speed and even though we will have a slightly lower payout, I am expecting a full field which we have had every year but last year.

I will be putting out a flyer very soon once we get all the sponsor details finalized.

My thanks to all of my players and supporters over the years and I look forward to seeing you all at this year's State Championship!

2005 came next, followed by 2006, 2007, 2008

Simonis Signs on once again as the Official Cloth of the State Tournament

The title says it all! I really want to thank Ivan Lee and his staff for working with us again this year by supporting this event.

With just over 2 weeks to go, sign ups are going well and people are contacting me about the event.

I even had a spectator who lives part of the time in VA and part of the time in Costa Rica who was upset that he wouldn't be back in time for the event. That shows the type of crowd and fan following that this event has. Don't miss playing or watching the event on our stream!

For you players out there, spots are filling up so get your entry in soon.

They have a tourney in VA, that does allow all the surrounding regional big hitters to rob. It's called the US Open.
