Is it just me or is not only the streaming and coverage great, but the matches have been great as well. Maybe it's a function of alternate break, or maybe it's because we can see literally every match, but rarely do I remember so many comebacks and nailbiters.
Of course you gonna have more nailbiters with the alternate break format. great to watch.
alternate break and short races equalize the play when you get to this level especially. If it were long races and winner break, nobody would beat Shane.....ever.
we will see shane is in the smokin aces bar box 9 ball event in a couple months that is winner break race to 21 is that long enough

race to 21 on a barbox isn't exactly a long one but he is still the favorite for sure. I was more referring to a 9-foot race to 50 or longer.
I agree about short races and alternate break..it's amateurish.
Another tournament with great players.....

But I don't agree about Shane being unbeatable at winner break.
He's my favorite modern breaker, ( accuracy like Billy Johnson )....
...but there are lots of great players that can lay a pack on you...
...you only have to make ONE ball to keep a man in his chair.
I doubt Buddy Hall was in the top 300 breakers when he could give the world the 8.

I understand I don't have to update this thread, but some guys working can only access AZ website. So, since I'm trying to stay awake I figure I'd update the scores for them. Although, technically they are not working if they are reading this thread but that's between them and their bosses.
