I'm curious, where does this "#TeamMexico" come from. Is he American, is he a Mexican national? I had always thought he was a US citizen of Mexican decent.

#TeamMexico is what we started calling it after John French started with his Team French ridiculousness. It just a term we use for the people close to and behind Oscar.

Oscar is a US citizen. His father Ernesto should have his own reality TV show. If you get to know him, the man is hilarious.

Thanks for the clarification. I have heard Ernesto commentate a few matches (he's a great commentator), I did not get the humor aspect but he comes across as a good man (as does his son not surprisingly).

Damn Shane playing Warren Kiamco. Although Warren represents the Phillipines, I consider him a USA guy since he's always in the U.S and plays more tournaments than anyone in recent years..

He hasn't beat any of the champs yet. I hope he wins the whole thing, but I don't think he will. Johnnyt
 
A dark horse to make a deep run is the highly skilled Ruslan Chinakhov. I'll be keeping an eye on him.
 
That top bracket is ridiculous. Ko, Shaw, or Dennis will have a tough tough time winning the first three.

All things considered, Shane's part of the bracket isn't too bad.
