2017 Derby City Bigfoot 10 Ball

A poor kick by Gorst gives Carlo ball in hand. The layout looks routine, but as poorly as Biado has been playing, stay tuned.

Drat, Biado wins. Good example of a match in which the accu-stats were misleading. Gorst, who shot .813, was much sharper against Appleton, but shot about .800 in that match. The thing is that the chances in yesterday's match were both fewer and tougher. Winning today should have been far easier, but Fedor stumbled at a couple of critical moments and it cost him against a way-off-form Biado.

Fedor is a solid young player and he can count me as a fan. Biado won't beat Kazakis playing like this.

That table is double tough, with very tight pockets, maybe four and a quarter inch openings. All that distance doesn't make it any easier either, but that's the whole idea. This is Shaw's tourney to lose.
I like Scott Rabon in the box with Mark. Good voice and crisp analysis of the shot and what's happening. The view from way up there where they sit is not that good. Down near the table you can see much better.

I've heard Scott on many PoolactionTV streams. He's excellent.

It's hard to beat the Gorst on a 10-foot table.

One of these days I'm going to get hauled off to a loony bin...and it's your fault...

Sometimes I read one f your posts like like this one...and I cackle....
..if it's in a coffee shop, everybody looks at at me....:embarrassed2:
...told 'em a couple times..."I'm sane...and I got the papers to prove it.

I agree, Scott did a good job. He was pretty low key so it might be best to pair him with someone more excitable - or perhaps just give Mark Wilson a few shots of espresso beforehand ;)

I agree. I think Scott and Mark are a great team. They stay on subject and give us things we can learn about the shots and match. Hopefully they can do more of the other matches. Scott knows one pocket very well...

Leevan plays a lock up safety on the 3 ball. Shaw fouls and Leevan runs out.

Leevan on the hill 10-8.

LeeVan dry breaks, open layout that Shaw will run out 90% of the time. Shaw plays bad position and hooks himself. Now a safety battle.
