Imo, Duel has no place on that team. Styer was hot and cold, when he's hot, lookout. When he's not, whew, the words train wreck come to mind. I think Styer will get much better w more exposure.
i don't think albin will qualify for the team. maybe mario he or kazakis

Unless he has a solid 2019, I wouldn't pick Styer. Yes, he was solid for the first two days of the 2018 Mosconi and very mediocre on the last two days, struggling as the pressure built up.
He certainly contributed last year, but I'm not totally sold yet and won't applaud his selection unless he shows strong form this year relative to other Mosconi hopefuls. Any suggestion that his play at the 2018 Mosconi should be enough to ensure his place on the next team, to me, is ridiculous.
Europe has won eight of the last nine, in part, because the selection of the team is based on merit in the year leading up to the Mosconi. That ensures that they'll send five in-form players every year. Why should we want anything less for Team USA?

Nice to see Josh Roberts on your list. He's an often overlooked star of the game. In January, he beat SVB in the Derby City Nine ball.
Josh is one tough out, never a guy you want to see in your draw.

From what I saw at DCC this year. I am not sure Styer can beat Chris Robinson in any sort of significant gambling match. Omar Al Shaheen tried to spot Chris a little something in 10 ball and got his nuts shot straight in.
