2022 DCC Discussion Thread

While he's great, I like Filler just a hair more. Either way, they should have a long rivalry. I think they have set the bar a bit higher then their same-aged peers. When it comes to the absolute top level, I really think pace of play makes some difference, but not as much in their matches as in their practice. Just think about how many more balls a faster player pockets in their lifetime than a slower one. This must add up to something. Think Kaci vs Filler. If all else is equal in their practice and Filler pockets 30% more balls how can Kaci keep up?

That's just one example but you have Shaw, SVB, Earl, Orcullo, etc. Luckily for us, the top tier seem to really get on with it and I think it's to their advantage.

i have been living under a rock all these years so excuse me for these very lame questions regarding the derby
1)this year it was $160 x3 to enter banks /one pocket /9 ball
yes?
2) if you bought into only one event you could still sweat the rest of the tournament ie you would be let into the tournament room while the other divisions were playing
yes?
3) how much is the buy back for each division?

B'back is 100bux.

Reyes gets a standing ovation during his introduction for his lifetime contribution to pool. Well deserved.

Tough for his opponent to get introduced after that!

Efren playing with a complete different cue now.

Both Reyes and Dietchman (sp) are playing rough with many errors. I doubt either over .800.

Jeremy mentioned Efren can't elevate the cue much due to shoulder problems.

Tied at 2-2.

There's a Michael Deitchman in Fargo with 660 and ~3100 robustness.
