I take it you are not watching DAZN. What is your streamer?filler tournament stats are sickening:
46% BNR rate
97% pot success
5 missed balls
I'm not really sure where to begin here, but your reasoning is just not correct. Making the pockets tighter makes it more likely that balls will be missed. But the likelihood of missing isn't the same for both players: the stronger player is less likely to miss than the weaker player. This gives the stronger player an advantage over the weaker player. If the pockets were so loose that no one misses any balls, then the stronger player has no advantage over the weaker player, and the game literally becomes a game of chance. Making the pockets tighter reduces the role of luck, it doesn't increase it.I know it’s difficult to see this and it needs some critical thinking but making the condition very difficult will make it more likely that a real good player miss a ball (maybe the 8ball) and if he is unlucky it wobbles the pocket and stays near it giving the weaker player an easy 8 near the pocket then the nine ball. Making these two will give him the rack.
Now with these pocket if a player is slightly off his game he will rattle a ball at the end of the rack maybe the 7 or the 8. then it’s all about the pool gods of where this ball and the cue ball lands on the table giving the opponent either a very easy out or a safe.
I know it’s hard to see my vision but if I ever play SVB I’ll ask for a short race and a very tight pocket this would give me higher percentage of beating him. Think about it deeply SVB could rattle the last two balls more often with tight pockets versus his comfortable table which will give me a chance of pocketing the last two balls or three and win. You could literally see this happening in the masters.
I'm in a "chat" with DAZN to find out what is happening, but since I'm #27 in line, the event will likely be over!black screen on DAZN now for last 40 min.
If you get through to them, please ask whether the entire final match will be available from them at some point.I'm in a "chat" with DAZN to find out what is happening, but since I'm #27 in line, the event will likely be over!

DAZN -- YOU"RE NOT IN DA ZONE!
[could someone be joking about it starting?]
Make an experiment with weaker player than you that never beaten you. Or a better player than you’ve never beaten. Play 10 times on tight pocket and 10 times with large pockets. Come back to me with the results. Cause I did this experiment myself.I'm not really sure where to begin here, but your reasoning is just not correct. Your argument seems to be based on only thinking about the scenario where a strong player misses the 7 or 8 ball and leaves his opponent an easy shot for a simple runout. But (as we have seen this tournament) this isn't the only way in which balls are missed. Balls can be missed at any point in the rack, and missed balls don't have to leave an easy shot.
