watched patches of selt - selby. ref tatiana almost docked a frame of selt for swearing too much
 
so vafei felt disrespected by ronnie smashing the break shot against him some year ago, and now does the same thing first chance he gets. such a dumb move
 
Is anyone able to watch Ronnie's match on DAZN (Table 1)?

It won't even load for me, but I can get Table 2 no problem.
 
Despite all the drama between them, it's nice to see Hossein tap the table after Ronnie played safe, and Ronnie raise his hand after fluking a ball.
 
This match will make or break Hossein….he poked a monster he wasn’t ready to defeat.
….either his game fades from this encounter…..or he practises with renewed vigour.
Ronnie 7-1 up at the break….correction…6-2….went out for a smoke…Ronnie was in the balls.

quite amazing how rare the skids are now, and with that the CB cleaning. used to happen every other rack before taom
 
Bottom half of the draw is looking like murderer's row, containing 5 of the top 10 betting favorites going into the tournament.

Top half, the only top 10 favorites are Ronnie and M. Williams and Mark was just eliminated by Luca.

I suppose there was a large upside if he had fluked one in and cleared. Or fluked a safe. But, yeah, not a good look.
 
It turns out that DAZN has archived the matches so far, so you can go back to the matches you've missed, such as the ones that started at 2AM Pacific time. We'll see how long they stick around.

This is reminiscent of the time, back in 2000, when golfer Stephen Ames did some trash talking about Tiger Woods prior to meeting him in the Match play event and Tiger whipped his butt 9 & 8.
