Ah, yes. Nothing listed for the US Open -- date, location, qualifiers. I assume it will be in Atlantic City as a long-term agreement with the AC tourist board was announced, but....

I think filling 128 spots with qualifiers is going to be really, really hard. I doubt that a foreign room will have 16 or even 8 players ready to go to any Open if they win. Even for the US Open, I wonder if they could get 32 players to enter qualifiers in California. I think the entry fee would have to be very reasonable.

I think it is possible to get 20+ players in Norway if the fee is reasonable and the winner(s) get spots and also some cash to cover some of the expenses with travel. If only qualifier in the region it will maybe attract players from Denmark and Sweden too.

Will be interesting to see how many willing to give it a try

For scandinavian players the WPA-WNT issue need to be solved though
