2026 AZ Billiards Straight Pool Challenge!

Hi 14-1 players Post your 2026 runs in this thread and I'll keep this first post updated with everyone's high run. Videos are welcome, but not required. If you play on multiple table sizes, I'll record the high run for each. If you have a FargoRate and would like to share it, I'll add it to the table.

Rules are relaxed for practice: cue ball fouls only, call pocket, any rack method allowed, any cleaning methodology allowed, run does not have to start from break shot, run can be practice or in an actual game, any size table is fine. *Feel free to make the rules more strict if you prefer for yourself.

Nothing special here, but best run of 2026 so far. 48. I was in a lot of trouble. It wasn't very clean and not how you should play. I did adapt pretty well.

Sort of embarrassed to even post this but 18 on New Year’s Day (video available if anyone is dying to see it). Missed an easy ball frozen to the rail. Ugh. 9’ Goldenwest on 860. Really out of date FR 430 (RB 197; haven’t played in a league that reports to Fargo in 15 months.)

I often get to 12,13 but somehow manage to screw up. I am sure it’s my end patterns.

84 Ball Run. I do recommend using a weight for the shaft with rail shots. I think I made two of those because of the weight. I messed up at the end. I did not want to use that ball as a key ball, but didn't see how to avoid it, and then of course I hit it way to tentative. I should have used the longer cue.
