2026 AZ Billiards Straight Pool Challenge!

I had a 32 a week ago after leaving myself completely straight on the break shot
Only 1 ball more than in January...

22 ( one better than the 21 I did earlier this year)
8ft Brunswick w/5" pockets (buckets)
487 Fargo
I tracked my total through 10 innings = 54 balls. 4 or 5 balls per inning is typical for me. That is up from 3-4 when I first started practicing this drill.

Ran a 46 today, made a strategic error. Had a dead looking carom shot in the pack with two balls still out. Decided to make them first, and missed. Shot the carom and balls were all over the table. Crap!
8 foot diamond, 4.5 pockets, 529 Fargo.

He must have had at least a 160 in there some place. That should be good for top three.
Top 3 of what a circus show?
I have not seen the whole video but I did see the 820 review that is posted and it shows 5 fouls. If I watched it I’m sure I might find a few more but have no desire too. I congratulated John before Bob Keller even posted it because I had trust in Bob that it would be on the square and I was totally disappointed. I was hoping John could clear his name from all the other times he fouled and cheated and I’m disappointed again.
When you say top 3 that can’t be true because of the fouls. His 626 would be top 3. Well at least you admitted to a foul so we all know you can never call his circus run an 820 now.
I believe rules should be for everyone and the same. John broke many rules again and it’s an embarrassment to the game but I personally am not mad at all because it’s expected from him because of his ego and his desperation is at the highest levels to get patted on the back. Actually I’m happy to see the fouls because it shows just how great Jayson Shaw’s World record runs are. What’s really bad is for people in our sport to not acknowledge it’s a bogus run and attempt to sabotage Billiard history and you of all people in the industry should call it bogus but I understand your Pals with him.

Note that 160x 5 is 800. So even with 5 fouls he still had a 160 run in there. The top 3 he refers to is in this thread. Pretty obvious if one pays attention.

As you're pals with Shaw, who has had some atrocious displays of poor sportsmanship over the years. Just saying.

Thanks for your input but you don’t know the current or back story. What he implied was on top 3 meaning 832,714 and then John’s 820-160 equals 660 for 3rd highest run. John’s run had at least 5 fouls from the review video that was posted if you look at that you can see them. It also posts the run count with fouls. There probably are several more ball fouls and other fouls but not sure as I haven't viewed the whole run.
Yes Bob is Pals with John so he is biased and that’s ok but you or no one can refer to a run as legit with fouls. As far as Jayson’s sportsmanship he has handled himself with great sportsmanship during his high run attempts and never cheated or try to deceive the public in any way. Yes we are friends as I am with many Elite World Champions like Jayson. Hope all is well with you and enjoy your day.
