Hey Brent. Not that it is any guarantee for you, but I recently ordered a fair amount of threaded rod from Atlas, and what I pulled out of the box to look at seemed fine.

I still have some from them, but I'll take 1/2 (3/8-10 Aluminum). I also have 6 ft. of the 3/8-16 Aluminum from them, that I don't use any more. I'll sell or trade...JER

Well, atlas, I believe is $25 min. and their rod is $6.50 a ft, with a 3 ft min, plus shipping. I will be ordering other stuff, so If you pm me with what you want, and how soon, etc. I have no problem doing that. Their prices are cheaper on most items, plus I'm right across the border from them pretty much, so I'm gonna stock up. It's to bad they don't carry more types of items. I'm going to get some aluminum, steel and brass rod.

Shipping is free and they sell other things. You should be able to put together an order.

Shipping is free over a $100.00 Although you may still be able to put together an order. Nothing wrong with some extra stuff lying around.
 
Brent Last threaded rod from atlas I ordered came in a horsehoe shaped box. UPS beat the Flock out of it. They replaced it... Ct cue parts are good guys. Rings and collars are pretty nice too.

i had a titlist come to me, courtesy of UPS, also in a horseshoe shaped box once :eek:
